Twizel - Tekapo- Geraldine

Another cool morning, a bit more drafting to stay warm and a flat ride past Mt Cook and Pukaki on the way to lunch at Tekapo. 61kms
There we entertained a bus load of Koreans while we made up our usual filled rolls for lunch. I was riding with Rex stoking today and Neville had Bob taking him to Tekapo and Dave after lunch.
We biked off for Geraldine negotiating a few good climbs on the way. In the afternoon at the top of the steepest climb we found a nice cafe. Tea and muffin for me, coffee for some and a well earned rest for half an hour. Then we had some tandem racing like at wheelers, Dave and Neville versus Rex and I, it was great fun drafting on each other and flying down Burkes Pass trying to burn each other off and then finally rolling in to Geraldine at the motor camp.
Travelled 150km. Average Speed 32. Max speed 87km. (drafting and down hill brought that up)
