A non-profit organization, Call of Duty Endowment, partnered with Pilot Company during a Veterans Day campaign and broke the record by raising $1.75M in a three–week campaign.
Call of Duty Endowment has dedicated time and energy to help the Veterans who served in the military get high-quality occupations. Together with its guests, the pilot company chose to celebrate Veterans Day by helping the Call of Duty Endowment raise money for Veterans. The three-week event was fruitful, and the guests honored veterans in surpassing their $500,000 goal of 2021 by raising a triple amount.
Bobby Kotick, the CEO of Activision Blizzard, co-founded Call of Duty Endowment in 2O09 after he realized that out of every 150,000 veterans who returned to civilian life, 50,000 veterans could not get a job. Activision Blizzard, together with its team, has played a big role in the growth of Call Duty Endowment. It has been a major and long-term donor to the organization. To date, it boasts over a $25 M donation to Call Duty Endowment.
According to the organization’s spokesperson, their mission is to ensure the veterans get high-quality employment opportunities that will improve their skills, experiences, character, and education.
